  The rooms are basic but warm and comfy (not for lover of luxury - but great value and functional). Great to see an Aussie business that gets it! Thoroughly recommend!

  Further to my comments on this place, my wife was offered a complimentary glass of wine to smooth the situation which she accepted. As for myself I left went down the road and had a wonderful meal at the fire station bistro and grill. James was a great host, I definitely recommend this place. Four out of five stars

  We normally love the delatite hotel but we booked at a time of the launching of the spring Arts festival where a brass orchestra and art gallery were packed into the bistro. The food service was up to its usual standard but for the second time in a row there were not enough bar staff in attendance to cater for drink orders, especially when the Arts crowd just want to drink wine. It was a unique experience all that was happening in the pub and HATS off to the venue for supporting the festival by hosting the launch, we should have realised and come back another day. By all means try them out for a nice evening.

  AWESOME spot. Dean, the owner, and Andy the chef super friendly, and Ellie ("employee of the month") was tops. We called ahead to order dinner before the kitchen closed as we were late, and they so accommodating. The beers and a mulled cider in front of the fire were perfect.

  The rooms were clean and the water was hot. It had all you need for a brief overnight stay. The food downstairs was great and the staff were very nice. Would recommend as a reasonably well priced overnight room.

  Great spot to have a quiet lunch or dinner on the way to or from a weekend in the bush. Regular stop for our club and has been for years.
